We have lived in the El Paso area since 1987. Both Kirk and I have always had horses since we were children. We both grew up on dairy farms and were lucky enough that our parents let us have ponies. We both started riding when we were young children.
We have had stallions since 1988. We started with Paint stallions then went to paint and quarter horse stallions. Now we just stand the two quarter horses.
We have four children, Scott lives in Eau Galle with his girlfriend Bonnie and her two children Jackson age 5 and Lance 3. They are considered our grandchildren. Mike is a Salesman for Value Implement in Baldwin, his girlfriend Lori teaches in Senaca. Krystal is newly married to Max and they live in Woodville. Jennifer will marry Brian in September of this year.
Our children grew up riding horses. We used to game for several years and now in the later years we trail ride. We go on vacation to Eminence Missouri every fall for a week long trail ride. We attend local trail rides also. We both have outside jobs besides our horses, so needless to say, our evenings are spent taking care of our horses. |
